17 Nov, Shanghai – Singles Day, also known as Double Eleven, has consistently been a monumental E-commerce event with its origins in China. Officially commencing on 1 November, this year’s shopping festival wrapped up with 156 billion USD in estimated sales, as reported by data provider Syntun.

Maersk, the global leader in integrated logistics, unveils robust Omnichannel-Fulfillment (OCF) capabilities with operations to support Double Eleven retail promotions for 56 key clients across 16 OCF sites in China. The team has managed 8.15 million outbound orders, comprising of over 16 million pieces. This represents more than 26% increase in volume of orders compared to 2022. The valued customer base includes top premium brands as Erno Laszlo and Lacoste.

During Double Eleven, the sales volume surges to unprecedented levels, reaching more than 10 times, or even 30 times of normal volume. By meticulous preparation and planning and through seamless collaboration with various teams, we are able to offer integrated services for customers across multiple verticals, including home product, footwear & apparel, fashion, FMCG, cosmetics, and technology, among others. Additionally, we have significantly leveraged automated solutions in our operations, improving productivity and enabling us to provide cost-effective, reliable, high-quality, and customised omnichannel-fulfillment services for our customers.
